U.S. Battery Mfg. Donation To Santa’s Posse Helps Deliver Toys And Food to Families

The Washington state-based nonprofit organization Santa’s Posse, annually partners with the Clark County, Washington Sheriff’s Office to collect food and toys and distribute them to needy families and children during the holiday season.

For the fourth year, U.S. Battery provided a donation delivered by Regional Sales Manager Dwayne Porter, who also volunteered in the packing and delivery process. Santa’s Posse’s donations this year helped 1500 families and brought toys to 4200 children. Since 1997, Santa’s Posse has helped needy families in the Clark County, Washington community. U.S. Battery Makes Donation To Santa’s Posse

Santa’s Posse is a nonprofit organization that partners with the Clark County, Washington Sheriff’s Office, who collects and distributes toys and food for the needy. To help Santa’s Posse deliver to more than 1,000 families this year, U.S. Battery and its Distributor Battery Systems of Portland, Oregon, donated two US 27DC XC2 deep-cycle 12-Volt multi-purpose batteries. The batteries will be auctioned to raise additional money that helps to provide more than 2,900 kids with toys and holiday meals.

U.S. Battery’s Western Regional Sales Manager Dwayne Porter is also a volunteer Sheriff’s Auxiliary member and presented the donation on behalf of Battery Systems of Portland and U.S. Battery, to Sergeant Kevin Allais of the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.
