U.S. Battery Meets With Top Trans Tasman Battery Dealers After HCB Technologies Acquires Ryde/Federal Batteries

U.S. Battery’s position in the Trans Tasman market was strengthened with a recent acquisition by HCB Technologies, one of U.S. Battery’s largest distributors in Auckland, New Zealand. HCB Technologies and its parent company Hellaby Holdings, acquired Ryde/Federal Batteries located in Sydney, Australia. Ryde/Federal Batteries, another longtime U.S. Battery dealer, has many accounts in the automotive and motive-power sectors in that marketplace.

After the acquisition, Bradford Dwan, U.S. Battery’s Director of Sales in Asia, Pacific and Middle East, met with Ryde/Federal at their new main office in Sydney to update 20 of its top dealers on U.S. Battery products and to conduct training presentations. That same week, Dwan also traveled to Auckland, New Zealand to meet with the HCB group to provide the same training to that company’s top 20 dealers. “The feedback I received from all the dealers I met with, was how valuable it was to learn about U.S. Battery’s XC2 technology, and how it will help strengthen the U.S. Battery brand to their customers,” says Brad Dwan. “I also received many compliments on the quality and availability of U.S. Battery marketing materials.”
