U.S. Battery Manufacturing Appoints Michael Wallace As Creative Manager

U.S. Battery Manufacturing has appointed Michael Wallace as the company’s new Creative Manager in charge of marketing. U.S. Battery Manufacturing Appoints New Regional Sales Manager For The Northeast, Midwest And Western Canada Regions

U.S. Battery Manufacturing has appointed Dwayne Porter as the company’s new Sales Manager in charge of distributor and dealer channels located in the Northeast, Midwest, and Western Canada regions. Porter replaces the position formerly held by Michael J. Coad, who was appointed to Director of Sales in November of 2014, and will help Porter transition into his new role. “Dwayne understands our product line and has driven our marketing campaigns over the past seven years. On that basis he is positioned to do a great job with all of the loyal U.S. business partners which have been placed under his new management. Porter has been in sales and marketing for over 20 years. U.S. Battery Manufacturing’s VP Of Sales William C. Glover Set To Retire In 2015

After 15 years with the company, U.S. Battery Manufacturing’s Vice President of Sales, William C. Glover, is retiring effective January 1, 2015. Glover joined US Battery in 1999, and during that time, was a major contributor towards the company’s growth in the North American region, as well as growth and development of both OEM business and national account programs. “I feel grateful for the opportunity of working with everyone at U.S. Battery and for my part in helping to elevate the company to its current position,” says Glover. “I can say that lifelong friendships have been developed and as such, I am lucky and a better man today because of them.”

With more than 34 years of experience, Glover began his career in the battery business working for New Castle Battery Manufacturing where he managed the retail centers in Canton and Cleveland, Ohio. Glover also attended both Valley Forge Military Academy and Robert Morris University. “I retire with mixed emotions, because it’s hard to close this chapter in my life,” he says. “But, I am also looking forward to spending more time with my wife Linda, my children and grandchildren.”

U.S. Battery is currently expanding its manufacturing and distribution plant in Augusta, Georgia, due to increased growth for deep-cycle batteries within the region.
