*For series and parallel battery configurations; batteries should 'matched' in voltage, capacity, state of charge and relative age for safety and best performance.  In series configurations or series legs of series/ parallel configurations, batteries should be as identical as possible.  In parallel configurations or parallel legs of series /parallel configurations, battery voltages MUST be identical but battery capacity, state of charge, and relative age can vary moderately from one parallel leg to another.
